Pawan Kalyan to Meet BJP’s Top Brass in Delhi, Pre-poll Pact for Telangana Polls on Cards?

 - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Amid talks of stitching alliance with the BJP, the Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan left for New Delhi on Wednesday. The Jana Sena leader took a special flight from Hyderabad to the national capital, along with the Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy.

Pawan Kalyan is expected to meet the party's top leadership including Amit Shah and party’s national president JP Nadda today and on Thursday. He will likely hold parleys with the BJP’s top leadership on forming an alliance with the party in Telangana too.

Recently, Pawan Kalyan met the Telangana BJP leaders at Kishan Reddy’s office in Hyderabad. During the meeting, Kishan Reddy, accompanied by Rajya Sabha member K Laxman explored the possibility of pre-poll alliance with Jana Sena leader for the ensuing Telangana Assembly elections. However, the actor-turned-politician had said the alliance issue will be discussed in the party meeting and a decision will be taken on it. Jana Sena has already made it clear that it would contest 32 Assembly constituencies in the November 30 polls.

Pawan Kalyan’s meeting with the BJP’s top leadership will bring clarity over the Jana Sena-BJP pre-poll pact and seat-sharing formula between the two parties. He’s very much part of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). It remains to be seen how Pawan Kalyan will cobble up alliance with the saffron party ahead of Telangana polls while joining hands with Chandrababu Nadu’s TDP in Andhra Pradesh.
