KTR Holds Roadshow in Sircilla, Cautions Voters Against Congress Poll Promises

 - Sakshi Post

Rajanna Sircilla: BRS Working President KT Rama Rao took potshots at Congress leaders over Revanth Reddy’s remark on electricity supply to the farmers in Telangana.

Earlier, Revanth Reddy had said majority of farmers own one to three acres land and one 10 hp motor will supply sufficient water per acre land per hour, and therefore, 3-hour power supply is sufficient for the farm sector.

The BRS leader participated in a roadshow at Mustabad assembly constituency on Tuesday. Addressing a huge rally, KTR said Congress does not believe that the ruling BRS government is providing 24-hour electricity to the farmers in the state. He said if Congress leaders still have any doubt about the 24x7 electricity supply, then he would arrange the transport form them to visit Mustabad and dared them to touch the power line and check whether power was being supplied or not.

“I became an MLA with your blessings and a minister with the grace of KCR. I have developed Sircilla constituency as a number constituency in the state. I am working for the development of Sircilla. Give me another chance. Don’t believe what other people say during elections. Vote wisely,” KTR appealed to the electorate of his constituency during the roadshow.

Invoking the Telangana pride, the BRS leader asked will you see the kind of attachment KCR has with Telangana in other party leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi. Stepping up his attack on Congress, KTR said if voted to power, the grand old party would scrap Dharani land portal and restore the old patwari system.
