Bang Shi Hyuk, a South Korean lyricist and producer, explains why K-pop group BTS hasn't been producing more English-language songs.

In appreciation of the concert's final day, 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III The Wings Tour The Final, he organised a press conference. When asked what makes BTS' music so unique, he responded that black music is the base of all music. The fact that it is Black music remains unchanged even when it is performed in a variety of genres, including house, urban, and PBR&B. Globally, the limits of musical genres are being pushed. They are adopting this and doing it in BTS style.

Speaking about their success, he added that they never targeted the global market. Several causes came together. For analysts, it could be exhausting, but I can't say there is only one method for success.

He further stated that they set out to safeguard the worth of the distinctiveness that K-pop developed in the 90s. A group that is cool on stage, visually appealing, and producing music as a whole. They then incorporated BTS' special contribution, along with hip-hop and Black music. The group's members enjoy Black and hip-hop music. These two factors made it easier to enter Western markets. Foreigners are unfamiliar with K-pop, but they are familiar with Black and hip-hop music.
