Former TDP minister Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy hospitalised

 - Sakshi Post

Former minister and TDP leader Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy was hospitalised on Sunday following a sudden rise in his blood pressure and blood sugar levels. The TDP leader’s condition is stated to be stable.

Satyanarayana had unsuccessfully contested the 2019 elections from the Pendurthi Assembly constituency. He was vying for the same ticket for the upcoming polls, however, the TDP leadership denied the ticket due to the compulsion of pre-poll alliance agreement.

Former minister had hopes from Chandrababu Naidu and when his hopes were dashed he suffered a severe shock which may have led to the illness and subsequent hospitalisation. As per the family sources, Satyanarayana was not leaving the home after the party snubbed him. Jana Sena is fielding former MLA Panchakarla Ramesh Babu from Pendurthi assembly seat.

It may be recalled here that Satyanarayana had made an unparliamentary remark against the former YSRCP minister RK Roja during a press conference last year. Later, Roja filed a criminal defamation petition against him at the Nagari court.
