CM YS Jagan at Siddham Rally: YSRCP Ready for Poll Battle Between Truth and Falsehood

Visakhapatnam: Sounding poll bugle from Bheemili on Saturday, YSRCP president and chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said the party will take on a gang of thieves in the ensuing poll battle. 

As party cadres and people from 34 assembly constituencies poured in, the venue for the party’s rightly coined ‘Siddham’ rally had turned into a sea of people. Seeing the enthusiastic crowd, the chief minister remarked on one side there is sea and on the other a sea of people. 

Exuding confidence at the Siddham rally, the chief minister said he was happy to see the party soldiers are raring to go for the battle and the party will achieve its goal of winning 175 out of 175 in the upcoming assembly elections. 
 
“Be careful, the opposition leaders may use tactics to seek your votes. The person in front of you is not Abhimanyu but Arjuna. My people, please stand with me like Krishna did for Arjun. I am your Arjun,” CM YS Jagan said to a thunderous applause from about 4 lakh strong crowd at the venue and added that their presence shows that the party is scripting history in Bheemili.

Likening the poll battle to Kurukshetra Yuddham, the chief minister stated that the welfare schemes implemented by the YSRCP are like our arrows in the battle. He said that the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is nervous as the ruling YSRCP has fulfilled every electoral poll promise mentioned in the 2019 poll manifesto. 

“In the last 56 months of the YSRCP regime, be it in welfare or development our government has created a new record by fulfilling 99% of manifesto promises. This has rattled Naidu and therefore he is forced to forge a pre-poll alliance with Pawan Kalyan-led Jana Sena Party,” CM YS Jagan said. 

Highlights CM YS Jagan’s Bheemili speech

  • In the next 75 days, I want every party leader to visit every household in the state and explain to the citizens how Chandrababu made over 600 promises in 2014 election manifesto but failed to fulfill even 10% of it while YSRCP government fulfilled more than 99%  of its manifesto promises made in 2019
  • I want the party cadre to visit every household in every village from Kuppam to Ichchapuram, and explain to people about RBKs, Volunteer system, and upgradation of government schools under Mana Badi Nadu-Nedu, Mahila police personnel deployed in villages for the safety of women and digital libraries all of which was  developed in just 56 months

  • Naidu, infamous for deceiving farmers, promised to waive off their loans amounting to Rs 87,612 crore but cheated them by not fulfilling his promise. The YSRCP Government has raised the bar with Rythu Bharosa, RBKs, input subsidies, and providing free power to the farming sector
  • The YSRCP government has undertaken the construction of 17 new medical colleges and appointed 53,000 people across the health sector which is new record achieved by our government
  • Chandrababu Naidu cannot build a village like we did, because his idea of a village is exploiting the poor to feed crony capitalists
  • During the last four-and-a-half years of government, the YSRCP brought several reforms in the the education sector including Mana Badi Nadu-Nedu, English Medium, transition from state syllabus to CBSE & IB syllabus, bilingual textbooks, Byju's content, smart tablets, IFPs in classrooms in the government-run schools and full-fees reimbursement to the underprivileged children under Videsi Vidya Deevena scheme
  • Our government has accorded the highest priority to social justice. The government has enacted a law to allocate 50% of posts to leaders from BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities while 68% of the cabinet ministerial positions were given to leaders from the backward classes. Our government has appointed 4 deputy CMs from the backward classes with a SC leader being appointed as legislative council chairman, a BC leader as legislative assembly speaker, and a minority leader as a deputy chairperson of the council
  • I am asking the people to compare YSRCP rule with that of Naidu’s between 2014 and 2019 and then you will know how much money Chandrababu deposited in your bank accounts when he was the chief minister of the state

  • You are my star campaigner. I want each of you to come out and campaign for me. I want all of you to stand as my star campaigners and detail the good things our government has done
  • From 2014 to 2019, welfare provided by Chandrababu's government can be best understood by looking at your bank accounts. Ask them if they have contributed even a single rupee through welfare
