Human Trafficking Gang Held In Vizag - Sakshi Post

VISAKHAPATNAM: AP government which is taking all preventive measures to curb crime rate in the state and has arrested a seven-member gang including three women who are involved in human trafficking at Visakhapatnam railway station.

According to reports, the state police have received information from intelligence sources about the trafficking of female children. The Visakhapatnam railway police were contacted and a plan was accordingly made.

Police said the seven-member gang was travelling on a Howrah-Yashwantpur train.

A team of 100 personnel from civil, Intelligence and police departments arrived at the railway station and took the gang into custody after Superfast Express number 7864 going from Yashwantpur to Howrah reached the Visakhapatnam station.
