Mithra Mandali OTT: Priyadarshi’s Flop Film Out Early on Streaming!

 - Sakshi Post

The Telugu comedy film Mithra Mandali, starring Priyadarshi alongside debutante Niharika NM, has made an early digital debut. The film is now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video, beginning November 6, 2025, complete with English subtitles.

Originally released in theatres on October 16, 2025, the film’s early move to OTT suggests the makers chose to shorten the theatrical window, possibly in response to its box-office under-performance. Despite a heavy promotional push and the pairing of a well-known comedian with a rising social-media star, Mithra Mandali failed to strike a chord with critics or audiences, often cited as one of Priyadarshi’s biggest setbacks.

For viewers eager to catch the film at home, the Amazon Prime Video listing also indicates that the version available may be a revised cut. Priyadarshi himself confirmed that the digital edition has been refined, featuring a shorter runtime and some edited scenes.

Mithra Mandali follows the chaotic journey of a group of misfits who get entangled with a politician, resulting in ridiculous mayhem and layered humour. While the premise had potential, the execution was widely criticised for its excessive jokes and uneven pacing. Highlights included Niharika’s first major Telugu acting role and a catchy track titled “Jambar Gimbar Lala,” which featured a cameo by veteran actor Brahmanandam.

Now that the film is streaming, it gains a second life online. Fans of Telugu comedy may catch it as a light-hearted watch despite its theatrical ripples. With the global reach of Amazon Prime Video, Mithra Mandali may also find fresh audiences in non-Telugu markets.
