Pope Francis Dies: What Was the Cause of His Death?

Pope Francis is receiving tributes. The confirmation of his death by the Vatican. Pope Francis passed away at the age of 88. Cardinal Kevin Ferrel, the Vatican camerlengo, announced that Pope Francis died Monday morning.
"At 7:35 this morning, the Bishop of Rome, Francis, returned to the home of the Father. His entire life was dedicated to the service of the Lord and of his Church,″ Farrell said in the announcement. “He taught us to live the values of the Gospel with faithfulness, courage, and universal love, especially for the poorest and most marginalized."
A day after his public appearance on Easter, Pope Francis passed away. It's being reported that the doctors had advised the Pope against coming in front of thousands of people, but the Pope wanted to wish everyone a Happy Easter and hence took the decision.
How did Pope Francis pass away?
Pope Francis suffered from chronic lung disease and also had a part of his lung removed at a very young age. On 14th February, the Gemelli hospital admitted Francis due to a respiratory crisis that progressed into double pneumonia. Pope Francis spent 38 days hospitalized— the longest hospitalization of his 12-year papacy.
Pope Francis was diagnosed with bronchitis in early February but had continued to hold daily audiences in his Vatican hotel suite. At age 21, Francis had part of one lung removed and, since then, has suffered with bronchitis at multiple stages in his life. and always used a wheelchair, walker, or cane while walking around in his apartment.
