Nachinavadu Movie Review, Rating

'Nachinavadu' is one of the most under-rated small movies of the year. Produced by Laxman Chinna and Venkata Ratnam, the film was originally released in theatres on September 22 and has now been re-released in theatres. Let's find out what the rom-com is about:
Story:
A white-collar corporate employee named Anand (Laxman Chinna) doesn't believe in the arranged marriage system. His heart and soul pines for a woman whom he can first know about, fall in love with in leisure and marry later.
Anu (Kavya Ramesh) wins his heart at the first sight. They become travel buddies in no time. But there is something unknown about Anu's past. Anand comes to know of it and a metamorphosis takes place in the trajectory of the story. How do Anand and Anu handle the new reality? Will they get married to each other?
Performances:
Laxman Chinna is the film's lead man, writer, director and producer. In every way, he makes an ultra-serious attempt to score points. At the same time, he appears quite chilled out on screen. That's a takeaway from him. Kavya Ramesh is beautiful and dramatic. Darshan has a prominent role. Nagendra Arusu, Lalitha Nayak, Prerana Batt, ARP Reddy, Praveen are good in different roles. The performances are soulful in the climax.
Technical Departments:
Mejjo Josseph's music lets the songs take a deep breath in a rhythmic way. The music wades into the structure of the story and lets the visuals and story beats do the dancing. Anirudh's cinematography is applause-worthy. The technicians were not over-burdened with the task of saving the film. The writing and the performances are the film's biggest strengths. The music, cinematography and production design only had to aid the story-telling and acting.
Plus Points:
The treatment.
The screenplay.
The central message.
No overdose of sentimentality.
The workplace camaraderie.
The dialogues carry their brief well.
Demerits:
A few forced scenes in the first half.
Verdict:
'Nachinavadu' is about the power of empathy in relationships. Any romantic relationship will last long when there is a two-day exchange of genuine feelings and empathy. That's what the film delves into.
