Video: Senior Actress' Allegations Against Balakrishna Going Viral

Popular Tamil actress Vennira Aadai Nirmala has accused a well know Telugu actor of sexual misconduct. She made these shocking allegations against the senior actor during her recent interview to a YouTube channel. YSRCP has posted the video clip of the interview on its X (formerly Twitter) account. 

Recalling an old incident which took place during an outdoor shoot, Nirmala revealed that she was shocked when the senior actor knocked on the door of her hotel room at midnight and asked her to let him in. 

“He said, I will not do anything to you. I will just sleep in your bed,” Nirmala told the interviewer.

She did not name the actor but it is being speculated that the Tamil actress is referring to Balakrishna. She said the incident occurred while they were filming the ‘Annadammula Anubandham’ movie in 1975. The yesteryear actress said that she did not expect this kind of behaviour from the Telugu actor who is 13 years younger to her. 

It may be recalled here that Bigg Boss Tamil 7 contestant and veteran actress Vichitra too had alleged that ‘a big star’ had made sexual overtures to her during the shooting of a Telugu film in 2001 and she was humiliated by the film’s fight master for not giving in to the demands of the actor. 

Recalling a 20-year-old casting couch incident, the actress said she worked with a famous hero in a Telugu movie and she was taken aback when the lead actor instead of asking her name asked to meet him at his room at night. Notably, Vichitra worked in Bhalevadivi Basu (Telugu movie) and Balakrishna aka Balayya had played a lead role in the movie.
