Telangana: Half Day Schools From March 16

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Government Education Department released a circular notifying Summer Half Day Schools for the year 2020.

This decision was taken with the rise in temperatures due to the onset of summer.

The orders are applicable for all the primary, upper primary and high schools, government-aided and private managements in the State.

A statement issued by Chithra Ramachandran, Special Chief Secretary- School Education Department, said that school timings during the half-day period would be from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Mid day meals in the primary schools will be served at 12.30 p.m. She also instructed the state DEOs and other officials to forward the notice to all the schools in the state.
