Jr NTR, Not Mahesh Has Mass Appeal: KGF Director

Popular Telugu actors Jr NTR and Mahesh Babu have clearly come a long way in the industry since their debuts 'Rajakumarudu' and 'Ninnu Choodalani'. They have been soaring greater heights with each film. Every director aspires to work with these actors. Surprisingly, one most happening director Prashanth Neel who is basking in the glory of his latest release 'KGF' has reportedly said no to working with Mahesh Babu.

Going into details, he is believed to have said that he prefers Jr NTR over Mahesh Babu. As you all know, 'KGF: Chapter-1' which was released a year ago did fantastic business at the box office. Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers who previously produced 'Srimanthudu' and 'Janatha Garage' has reportedly paid the director to helm a project under their banner. They are believed to have asked the director to pen a script for a 'Mahesh Babu' movie. But the buzz is that Prashanth Neel is keen on working with Jr NTR.

The Kannada director is believed to have requested 'Mythri Movie Makers' to get the dates of Jr NTR. Prashanth Neel has written a script for which he believes only Jr NTR can do justice when compared to Mahesh Babu if he were to star in it. The director reportedly said that Jr NTR has the best to mass appeal across the globe when compared to Mahesh.

Prashant is now looking forward to meeting Jr NTR to give him a reading of the script. He will do so after the completion of 'KGF-2' which is under production right now. It is unclear yet as to what kind of script he has written and who will star in the movie.

On the career front, Prashanth Neel, Jr NTR and Mahesh Babu are currently busy with their respective projects.
