Aarti and Khushbu Cryptic Posts: Jayam Ravi Breaksdown in Press Meet

The public fallout between Tamil actor Jayam Ravi Mohan and his estranged wife Aarti Ravi took another dramatic turn on Saturday after Aarti shared a strongly-worded cryptic note on social media, shortly before Ravi’s emotional press conference in Chennai.

The actor, who recently broke down before the media and declared that he would not act until his divorce is finalised, has been at the centre of intense public scrutiny over his personal life and his reported relationship with singer-spiritual healer Keneeshaa Francis.

Aarti Ravi Shares Strong Message

Hours before Ravi Mohan addressed the media, Aarti posted a note on Instagram that many interpreted as a direct response to the ongoing controversy.

“You never wake a sleeping lion. God help if she's a mamma lion. My dignified silence should never be mistaken for weakness or taken undue advantage of,” the note read.

She further warned that she would speak out if pushed further.

“If needed, to protect my children and my dignity, I will step out of my comfort zone and face the world with the truth. Because truth always prevails,” she added.

The post quickly went viral, with many social media users speculating that the message was aimed at Ravi Mohan amid their highly-publicised marital dispute.

Khushbu Sundar Extends Support to Aarti

Actor and politician Khushbu Sundar publicly supported Aarti Ravi by replying to her Instagram post.

“Never mess with a mother. And you are a lioness with her cubs. More power to you my baby,” Khushbu commented.

Following Ravi Mohan’s emotional press meet later in the day, Khushbu shared another cryptic post on X, formerly Twitter, which further fuelled online speculation.

“Some are just hell bent to prove their DNA. Thank you for proving me right,” she wrote without mentioning anyone by name.

The internet was quick to debate whether the post was directed at Ravi Mohan or someone else entirely.

Jayam Ravi’s Emotional Breakdown

Earlier in the day, Ravi Mohan became emotional while addressing the media in Chennai, claiming he had faced “unnecessary humiliation” and “cyberbullying” for years.

The actor said he would stay away from acting until his divorce from Aarti Ravi is legally completed.

“Until my divorce comes through, I will not act. Whenever I get my divorce, my life will be normal again,” he said tearfully.

Ravi also spoke about not being able to meet his sons and indirectly addressed the controversy surrounding Keneeshaa Francis, saying, “You have sent Keneeshaa away... I wish her a good life.”
