Women In Telangana Can Now Dial 181 To Get Help 

Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Saturday launched an exclusive helpline for women.

Women and child welfare minister T. Nageswara Rao launched the helpline '181' in the city here. The helpline will be functioning on all the 365 days, 24X7 and will also help in providing information related to women’s welfare schemes. Women with the issues like sexual harassment, human trafficking, stalking and domestic violence or dowry harassment can seek help from the helpline.

Apart from contacting police, the helpline can also be used to seek medical help, ambulance and other emergency services, he said.
