Woman Who Fell In Elevator Vent Succumbs To Injuries 

Hyderabad: A 65-year-old woman who was undergoing treatment over the past one week after she accidentally fell into a lift well at a state-run Gandhi Hospital here succumbed to injuries on Thursday.

Pochamma broke her leg and was admitted at the hospital on October 4 for neurosurgery after she fell into an elevator vent thinking it to be a bathroom.

Police were in the process of registering a case under section 304-A (causing death by negligence) of the IPC against hospital authorities.
