Woman Tries to Burn Minor Daughter

In a shocking incident, a woman, who was upset at her daughter spoiling wheat flour, went wild with anger and tried to burn the girl alive by pouring kerosene on her. The incident occurred in Chintagudem village of Farooqnagar mandal in Rangareddy district on Saturday.

On Friday evening, Swaroopa of the village asked her younger daughter to the grocery shop to get wheat flour. However, the girl fell down and spilled the flour.

On knowing about it, Swaroopa was overcome with anger, poured kerosene on her and set her ablaze.

The neighbours, who saw this, immediately doused the fire and shifted her to Shadnagar hospital. Later, she was taken to Osmania Hospital for better treatment.
