Woman kills two kids, tries to kill self

A woman, deserted by her husband, on Wednesday allegedly killed her two children and tried to commit suicide, police said.N Sailaja (30), the woman, married N Suresh, an auto driver, about five years ago, and had two sons.

But the husband, of late, had left her, said the police.

On Wednesday she allegedly administered pesticide to her sons, aged 4 and 2 years, and tried to hang herself before the neighbours saved her.

She has been arrested. Further probe is on.
