Woman Accuses BJP MP Of Raping Her

New Delhi: After a woman in Delhi accused BJP MP KC Patel of raping her on several occasions, the Delhi court has ordered the city police to investigate into the allegation. Patel, an MP from Valsad constituency in Gujarat, has alleged that he was "honey-trapped" by the woman. He said that there was no truth in the allegations made by the woman.

Patel alleged that the women and her gang had drugged him and screened a video of him in objectionable positions with her and demanded Rs. 5 crore for not making the footage public.

Stating that he has full faith in the law, Patel said he would cooperate in the investigation. Woman alleged that she was invited by Patel for dinner to his official residence on March 3 and committed the crime.

She also claimed that she was raped by the MP on several occasions after the incident. The Delhi police had refused to file an FIR and the MP too threatened with dire consequences if she reported the rape, the victim claimed.
