BJP Telangana state president K. Lakshman speaks to media in Hyderabad on Thursday

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president K. Lakshman on Thursday threw out a challenge to the Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar demanding his resignation if he proved Amit Shah's claims that the Centre gave Rs1 lakh crore to Telangana in the last three years.

Reacting to KCR's blistering attack on Amit Shah over the Centre's generous assistance to the state, Lakshman said what the BJP national president said was completely true and they have all evidence to prove its veracity. "As Amit Shah's Telangana tour created panic among TRS leaders and cadres, KCR is resorting to all baseless criticism and blatant lies," he said.

“Is it not true that the Centre had sanctioned 90,000 houses to Telangana and the state government is not able to construct them?" he questioned and said that crores of rupees of funds released for local bodies were also being diverted to other programs of the state government.

Lakshman and former president of the BJP state unit G. Kishan Reddy said it was not Amit Shah who offended Dalits but KCR did injustice to them by snatching away CM post which he promised them before the election.
