Vijayawada-Chennai Pinakini Express Escapes Accident 

Guntur: The Vijayawada-Chennai Pinakini Express had a narrow escape from a potential accident after the railway gangmen identified a broken track and halted the the train at Tenali on Monday morning.

The train departured at Vijayawada at 6:00am reached Tenali in 30 minutes and left the station when the gangmen alerted the officials concerned about the broken track. The train was stopped immediately which otherwise would have reached the spot in a few minutes.

All the trains on Vijayawada-Chennai route have been stopped due to the incident and the repairs works are going on. The trains on this route are running late by a few hours.
