UPSC Topper Ira Singhal visits junior college in city

Hyderabad: Ira Singhal, UPSC examination topper 2015 and the first ever differently abled to achieve the feat in the general category was invited to St. Ann’s Junior College for girls, by the Dept. of Mathematics.

She gave an inspiring speech to the first and the second year students and also spoke about her success and the challenges that she had to face to reach her goal.“Single minded devotion to my goals, not losing focus and always being optimistic helped me reach my goal despite all the hurdles and hardships” she said.

Singhal was elated on being introduced to three differently abled students of the college. She also told that she never felt any different from others and appreciated the differently abled students for being determined and beating all the odds.

Sr.Pushpa Leela, the principal of the college hoped that Ira Singhal’s success would inspire and motivate the students to reach their goals and achieve the pinnacle of success.
