Two Boys Burnt Alive In House Blaze

Vijayawada: In a tragic incident, two kids were burnt alive in a fire mishap that occurred in Patamata residence area in Vijayawada city on Wednesday.

According to the police, the victims were identified as Lokesh(6), Rajesh(2) were charred to death when the hut they were residing in caught fire at Treasury Colony in the vicinity. The bodies were charred beyond recognition.

Both the kids belong to a Bengali couple who had migrated to the city from Kharagpur town for a livelihood. The victims are learnt to have left in the hut by their parents while going to work on Wednesday morning.

The police are investigating the reasons behind the fire mishap. A case has been registered in this regard.

Meanwhile, Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Ramamohan visited the incident site and consoled the family members.
