Vijayawada: In a case of what drunken driving can do, a enbirated man drove a car rashly placing his life and those of the other road users in danger here on Saturday.

The incident took place on Singh Nagar flyover when the unidentified said to a resident of Madhuranagar drove the unregistered car in a drunken state. He first hit a two-wheeler throwing the riders - a father and daughter off the vehicle. Later pedistrians on the flyover ran helter-skelter when he continued driving after hitting the two-wheeler and ended up colliding with a footpath. Passersby immediately pulled him out of the car and alerted the police. He was shifted to the police station while the father-daughter duo were admitted to hospital with injuries.
