Actor Suriya's recent outing Thanaa Serndha Koottam is enjoying a fantastic run at the box office. Though the movie a remake of the Hindi hit Special 26, it has grossed huge collections worldwide. Even its Telugu release Gang opened to a great response. This is the first time that Suriya and Keerthi Suresh paired up.

The movie hit theatres around festive season Pongal and managed to raked in crores from across the world. We can say that the movie is the first blockbuster hit of the year in the Tamil industry. In its 24 days of release, the movie has garnered Rs 150 crores in India and overseas.
