Youth In Extra-Marital Relationship With Aunt, Kills Uncle

Talakondapalli, Kalwakurthy: Police here arrested Lalu (20) for murdering his uncle (26) to continue his extra-marital relationship with his aunt, Mallesh's wife. The local SI revealed details of the case to media persons on Saturday. Meesala Mallesh was a local construction labourer from Sanghaipalli who went to the city to earn his livelihood. He fell in love with Soni from Palugu Tanda in Siddapur mandal and married her. They had two children out of this inter-caste wedlock.

Meanwhile, his nephew, Meesala Lalaiah, aka Lalu, from Medakpalli used to visit them often. Over some time, he became intimate with Soni, his aunt. When their relatives came to know of Lalu's relationship with his aunt, they told her husband, who along with other elders, admonished his nephew.

Lalu and his aunt, Soni decided to get rid of Mallesh and drew up a plan. They did not succeed the first time around. On August 7, Lalu called his uncle, Mallesh to come to Sanghaipalli, from where he took him on his bike. The two consumed liquor together and in the last peg, Lalu mixed some pesticide which he had bought earlier.

Mallesh took ill and died, following which Lalu dumped his body in the forest area. The murder came to light on August 11 after investigation by SI Suresh Yadav. Police took Lalu and Soni, who confessed to the crime, into custody and sent them to remand.
