Telangana Teenager, Maharashtra Boy Climb Atop Kilimanjaro

Hyderabad: A Telangana teenager, Amgoth Tukaram (19), achieved a milestone of scaling the highest peak of Mount Kilimanjaro (5895 mts), while carrying the national flag and singing the national anthem. Tukaram, along with Deepak from Maharashtra, scaled atop Kilimanjaro at around 7:30 AM on Wednesday.

A final year BA student, Tukaram is a resident of Yacharam mandal in Ranga Reddy district. The mountaneer duo applied for entry of their feat into the Limca Book of Records, Indian Records and High Range Book of World Records, it is learnt.
