KCR Dissolved Assembly For Self Interest: Union Minister
New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana In-charge and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) went in for early polls due to his fear of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking to media here today, he said that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government completely failed with regard to governance in the State. KCR's absurd statements reflect the state of affairs in the State, he added.
The BJP leader criticized the TRS saying no proper reason was given as to why the government was dissolved. Alleging that farmer suicides had increased in the State, he said that TRS government did not utilise the benefits of Rs 172 crore through the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
The Union Minister further said that KCR deprived the Telangana people of the benefits of the Central schemes rolled out by PM Modi for self interests. To provide people-friendly governance is the aim of the BJP after coming to power, he added.
