HC Relief To Telangana Govt On Assembly Dissolution

Hyderabad: The High Court provided relief to Telangana government on the subject of dissolution of the state assembly. The court dismissed a petition filed against the dissolution of the state assembly as an unconstitutional act by Congress leaders DK Aruna and Shashank Reddy.

On Friday the court heard arguments from both the sides. Meanwhile, another petition filed by another Congress senior leader Marri Shashidhar Reddy claiming there have been irregularities in the voter list has been struck down by the court. As the petition has been struck down the decks have now been cleared for finalising voter list and releasing it today.
