The Telangana state Government has got its separate state icons. The official bird, flower, tree and animal of Telangana state are as follows:
Palapitta' (Indian Roller) : official bird of the Telangana.
State Tree of Telangana : Jammi Chettu (Prosopis cineraria)
State flower of Telangana: Tangedu (Cassia auriculata)
State animal of Telangana: Deer
