TDP takes out cycle rally to Amaravathi in vans

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party is bringing laurels to the new capital city Amaravathi, but in a fraudulent way.

Some enthusiastic activists from IT department of TDP undertook a cycle rally called ‘AP Capital Ride’ from common capital to Andhra’s new capital Amaravathi but rally resulted into participants’ hitch-hiking in a van instead of pedaling on their respective cycles.

Activists launched the ‘Ride’ on cycles from Hyderabad on Monday to reach the new capital city on foundation laying day. However, when the rally reached the outskirts of a city, the cyclists abandoned their cycles and hopped on vans.

The rally, which was undertaken in order to garner people’s attention, has become a laughingstock.
