TDP Corporators Go Berserk In Kadapa Civic Body Council Meet

TDP corporators in Kadapa Municipal Corporation went on a rampage to prove their domination in the council hall on Saturday.

The TDP corporators wanted the YSRCP corporators, who recently defected to their party, also to be seated along with them and wanted the seating arrangement be made accordingly. They rushed to the podium and and removed the name plates. They also broke the mikes. Even when YSRCP members tried to pacify them, the TDP members did not relent. They even tried to attack the YSRCP members.

The police had to step in to bring the situation under control. The YSRCP members alleged that the TDP members were resorting to similar high-handed behaviour in every local bodies. They cited the example of Gudivada, Nellore, Prakasam and other places where the TDP members have tried to use brute force to have their way.
