SV University Registrar’s Kin Attacks Students, 10 Injured 

Tirupati: As many as 10 engineering students of SV university have suffered injuries following a group clash on Monday here in the city.

According to the details, student Nithin Chowdhary, a kin of SV university Registrar Devarajam Naidu, along with a few others barged into the hostel rooms and allegedly thrashed students.

Later, the gang fled the place. The victims along with other students came to lodge a complaint with the Principal and vandalised the chamber. Meanwhile, the police arrived at the scene and took 150 students into their custody. The injured students lodged a complaint with the police against Nithin Chowdhary.

The police suspect that dispute sparked during a cricket match led to the attacks.
