Stray Dog Bites Boy To Death in Vizianagaram 

Vizianagaram: A class 3 student from Balijipet in the town was mauled to death after a stray dog attack on Tuesday.

The 11-year-old, identified as R Jaswanth is studying in a government school in the village and was the son of a farmer. The incident occurred when the boy and his friend were going to the fields to meet his father. Jaswanth's friend ran away from the place after a dog started growling at them.

The dog attacked Jaswanth, who suffered serious injuries on his neck, face and stomach. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was later shifted to a hospital in Bobbili for post-mortem.

This is the second incident in the village after a pack of dogs attacked a 45-year-old woman belonging to the same village in December. The woman succumbed to injuries while being taken to a hospital.
