Sridevi’s Death Similar To Whitney Houston: Simi Garewal  

Several theories are doing the rounds about the mysterious death of Sridevi. Yesteryear Bollywood actress Simi Garewal hinted that Sridevi's death is similar to that of American actress and singer Whitney Housten.

Dubai authorities have confirmed that there were no signs of criminal intent behind Sridevi's death at room number 2201 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers. A statement read out said that the actress had, in fact, drowned accidentally in the bathtub. It also stated that she lost consciousness and slipped into the tub and eventually drowned.

Whitney Housten too died in a hotel suite in Beverly Hills during a concert in February 2012. She was reportedly submerged in a bathing tub. Minutes later, the paramedics arrived and found her unresponsive and declared her dead. It was later disclosed that the actress had traces of alcohol and drugs in her blood sample. Later, reports suggested that the American actress was acutely intoxicated with cocaine. It took a few years for the police to crack the case.

In the Sridevi's death case too, several questions are still unanswered. Was the death caused just by drowning? Who were the persons she last spoke to? Who actually broke open the bathroom door to rescue her? What does the call data of Sridevi suggest about her death?
