Sonia favourable for removing tainted ministers: MSR

UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi was in favour of removing tainted state ministers, said M Satyanarayana Rao, RTC chairman.

He told reporters in Warangal on Thursday that Sonia would not hesitate to sack the ministers if she believed that their continuance in the cabinet would badly affect the party’s prospects in the next election. MSR reminded that she had removed two tainted ministers in the Union cabinet though the Prime Minister was against the decision.
