Skies Open Up, Hyderabad Gets Respite From Oppressive Heat

The denizens of Hyderabad were pleasantly shocked as the skies suddenly opened up on Tuesday evening. The sudden rains gave the much-needed respite from the sweltering heat.

In Qutbullahpur and KPHB Colony, there was hailstorm, while in Kukatpalli, Balanagar, Bharat Nagar, Sanatnagar, SR Nagar, Banjara Hills, Begumpet and Jubilee Hills, there was heavy rain accompanied by high velocity winds.

Several parts of the Old City and places like Shamshabad, Maheswaram and Kandukuru too experienced rains.
