Scare over abandoned suitcases in Machlipatnam

Tension prevailed at Machilipatnam railway station in Krishna district after passengers spotted two abandoned suitcases at the platform. 

According to reports,  railway officials were soon notified and the latter closed  the gate leading to the platform. Bomb detection and disposal squads were also called.

The police checked the suitcase and later found that the bag contained some clothes.
