Samantha mobbed by unruly fans at shop opening function  

Madhurai: Over enthusiasm of the fans turned out to be a major embarrassment for actress Samantha at Madurai on Wednesday. Unruly fans created a ruckus and one crazy fan had even punctured her car’s tyre to detain her. Samantha was in the town to inaugurate a business establishment.

Knowing about her presence, a large number of fans gathered at the shop. The crowd soon became uncontrollable. With thousands of fans surging ahead to catch a glimpse of the heroine. The police had to resort to mild lathicarge to control the overenthusiastic fans.

While she was trying to get into the car after inaugurating the shop, a crazy fan punctured her car tyre to detain her. The sound of bursting tyre created panic and the people ran helter-skelter. Shocked Samantha was taken away from the pace in another car with the security personnel in tow.
