On Saturday too he applied for leave but Lavanya rejected his leave stating that he is near to retirement and would lose benefits.

The RTC employees further said that Lavanya has been behaving sternly with people who are nearing retirement and rejecting their applications without paying to their heeds. The protest was only withdrawn after assurances on compensation and benefits from the superior officials.
