Row over dubbing serials, Maa TV office raided

Protest over dubbing serials took a serious turn on Friday as the TV artistes who were on hunger strike reacted violently.

Some TV artistes pelted stones at the Maa TV office at Jubilee Hills demanding stoppage of dubbing serials immediately. Furniture and a car were damaged in the attack. The window panes of the office were broken in the stone-pelting. The TV artistes were asking for withdrawal of dubbing serials in Telugu entertainment channels as they were losing livelihood with the serials dubbed from other languages.
