2 Dead, 2 Injured As Protruding Iron Rods Pierce Through Car

Siddipet: Two people were killed and two others were injured at Kondapaka on Sunday after the car they were travelling in rammed into a stationary iron rod-laden truck from rear. The protruding rods pierced through the car killing two passengers on the spot.

The mishap took place on the outskirts of Siddipet when the victims were heading to Karimnagar from Hyderabad in a car. Passersby shifted the injured to a hospital. The identity of the deceased and the injured is yet to be ascertained. Police registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem.

The deceased belongs to Ganneruvaram village in Karimnagar. Further details are awaited.
