Rejected, Man Attacks Girl And Her Mother Before Committing Suicide 

Srikakulam: A youth committed suicide by stabbing himself with a knife after he attacked a girl and her mother in Srikakulam on Tuesday.

Krishna(30), a resident of Tilak Nagar in the town, was pestering Bhramarambika to marry him for quite some time now. On Tuesday, the man barged into the girl's house and attacked her with a knife. When her mother tried to rescue the girl, Krishna also injured her. After the girl and her mother fell unconscious, the attacker cut his wrist and stabbed himself in the stomach and died while being shifted to hospital.

The girl was undergoing treatment at a hospital, police said. A case has been booked and an investigation is on.
