Rat does 'pradakshinams' to Lord Ganesha in Anantapur

Rat is Ganesha's vehicle. If the rat does circumambulations to the Lord and that too on Ganesh Chaturthi day, then expect huge crowds and lot of offerings.

A rat was seen doing rounds of Ganesh idol in the Trimukha Vinayaka temple near the old MRO hospital in Guntakal town of Anantapur district. 

This has created a sensation and made devout throng in thousands to the temple.

Devotees feel that rat worshiping its master on the occasion of the Ganesh festival is auspicious. It has circumambulated Vinayaka for several hours. The devotees' worship too continues unabated.
