Rains Lash Hyderabad; Heavy Downpour Forecast For 5 More Days

Hyderabad: Moderate to heavy rain lashed several parts of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad on Monday afternoon bringing life to a standstill. The Indian Meteorological Department predicted that the rains are going to lash Telugu states for another five days.

The continuous downpour threw the traffic out of gear at different locations in the city. Areas like Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Mehdipatnam, Hitech City, SR Nagar, Neredmet, Tarnaka, Uppal and several areas in Secunderabad soaked in heavy rain.
