Pawan Kalyan At Film Chambers, Fans Throng Filmnagar

Hyderabad: “Justice, we want justice” chanted scores of youth and fans of Jana Sena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan, who had gathered at the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce, in the Film Nagar area of Jubilee Hills here today.

The actor along with his mother arrived at the chambers and it is learnt that he would stage a deeksha or fast. Entire Konidela family, Allu Arjun and other film industry personalities including Paruchuri brothers came to the Film Chambers supporting Pawan. While the building was bursting at the seams as youth and women activists thronged the place, Pawan chose not to address the public.

Pawan, on his Twitter account, today threw a barrage of questions at Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and selective media channels for making him a scapegoat and plotting against him. He questioned Chandrababu on buying out media channels and purportedly asking them to play the clip in which a small-time actress abused him and his mother.

Meanwhile, Jana Sena Spokesperson Addepalli Sridhar told Sakshi that Pawan Kalyan has always lent support to the needy. “He has always raised questions and questioned the TDP earlier. But dragging Pawan for no fault of his is baseless.”

“Today Balakrishna made some baseless comments, why aren’t the media channels telecasting that. Is there a different rule for them?” said Sridhar.

Meanwhile, women artisites who have gathered at the Chamber said that, abusing anyone’s mother is disgraceful. “ Being a victim of casting couch ourselves, we were supporting Sri Reddy else we don’t know her. But using derogatory language against a woman, or anyone’s mother is abhorrent. Hence we have come here to support Pawan.”

MAA president Sivaji Raja said that filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is a terminator who only spreads evil and should be ostracized from society. “RGV offered Rs 5 crore to Sri Reddy to suppress the matter."

Meanwhile, it is learnt that Pawan would take legal recourse to put a cap on the situation.
