Three peddlers were identified as Gutta Teja Krishna, his associate Sajeer, and Wesley Sujit Karlapudi, a Nigerian national. They allegedly sourced narcotics from Karnataka and supplied them to youngsters in Hyderabad.

The others arrested were Vennela Ravi Kiran, Manne Prashanth, P. Harshavardhan Reddy, Lokesh Reddy, Prithvi Vishnuvardhan, Gundaboyina Nagarjuna, Mekala Gautham, and Guntaka Satish Reddy. All 12 accused have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

In recent months, Cyberabad Police have intensified their crackdown on drug parties being held at guest houses on the city’s outskirts.
Reports indicate that several secluded farmhouses have become hubs for unauthorized gatherings involving liquor and drug use.
Recently, 39 such properties in areas like Mudimyal (Chevella) and Tolkatta (Moinabad) were inspected under the supervision of DCP Yogesh Goutam.

During one raid, police found an unauthorized school event being held at Rithika Farm House, where around 150 students and several adult organizers were reportedly consuming alcohol.

Following the operation, DCP Goutam issued a stern warning, emphasizing that prior permission from police and excise authorities is mandatory for any event involving liquor or large gatherings.

“Any farmhouse management that violates these regulations will face stringent action as per law,” he said, reiterating a zero-tolerance policy against the misuse of suburban properties for illegal activities.
