Manorama: The Only Actress to Share Screen Space With 7 CMs

Veteran actress Manorama, who created a Guinness World Record by acting in over 1,000 films, remains one of the most iconic figures in Indian cinema history. Known for her unmatched versatility and comic timing, she shared the stage with legendary political leaders like CN Annadurai and M Karunanidhi during her theatre days.

On the silver screen, Manorama acted alongside cinematic legends such as MG Ramachandran, NT Rama Rao, and J Jayalalithaa. In later years, she also shared screen space with MK Stalin and actor-turned-politician Vijay.

With this rare feat, Manorama became the only actress in history to have worked with as many as seven Chief Ministers across different generations. Though times have changed and generations have passed, her unforgettable performances continue to live on in the hearts of cinema lovers. She passed away on October 10, 2015.
