Gujarat Ex-CM Vijay Rupani Feared Dead in Air India Flight Crash

Multiple reports indicate that former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani is feared to be dead in the devastating Air India crash that took the lives of more than 110 people. The Air India flight crashed near Ahmedabad airport in a medical hostel, and it's one of the worst civil aviation disasters in the country at the moment.

The exact number is unknown, but most of the flight's passengers, including Vijay Rupani, are feared dead. Rupani served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2016 to 2021. He was also a businessman and a stockbroker and boarded the flight to London to take his wife, Anjali.

Anjali is in London along with their daughter, and Vijay boarded the Air India flight to bring her back. The entire state of Gujarat is in mourning owing to the loss, as visuals from the crash sites are heartbreaking to witness.
