August Box Office Set For Big Telugu Movie Releases

The Telugu film industry is preparing for an exciting theatrical season as several promising movies are expected to hit screens in August 2026. After a relatively slow phase at the box office, filmmakers and exhibitors are hoping the upcoming releases will bring audiences back to theatres in large numbers.

Trade circles believe Peddi could play a major role in restarting box office momentum when it releases in June. If the film receives positive response from audiences, it may continue its strong run for several weeks and create momentum for future releases.

Following that, August is shaping up to be one of the busiest months for Telugu cinema this year. Multiple medium and big-budget films are already eyeing release dates during the month, creating strong anticipation among movie lovers.

Among the major releases, The Paradise starring Nani is currently scheduled to arrive in theatres on August 21. The film has already generated considerable curiosity among fans and trade analysts.

Another highly discussed project, Bhogi featuring Sharwanand, is expected to release on August 28. Industry insiders believe the film could secure a wide release across Telugu states.

Meanwhile, Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Irumudi is also likely to join the August release race. At the same time, discussions continue around Vishwambhara potentially arriving in August as well. However, there has been no official announcement regarding its release schedule so far.
