Why is Pawan Kalyan's Name Missing in the List?

Pawan Kalyan's fans and Jana Sena party's followers are distraught with the meagre 24 Assembly seats. What is quite shocking is that Pawan Kalyan's name was not featured in the first list of Assembly candidates announced by the TDP-Jana Sena combine.

The first list of the candidates featured the top brass of the TDP. The seats of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, general secretary Nara Lokesh and brother-in-law Nandamuri Balakrishna were announced. Jana Sena announced five candidates only.

However, Pawan Kalyan's name was not featured in the list. Though there have been reports that Pawan would contest from the Bhimavaram Assembly constituency, not announcing Pawan's name has left his fans disappointed.

It is speculated that Chandrababu Naidu has foul-played and misguided Pawan, feeling several Jana Sainiks. Meanwhile, several TDP leaders in these 24 Assembly constituencies are resorting to protests and indicating that they won't lend their support to Jana Sena in these constituencies.

Overall, the TDP - Jana Sena alliance is deeply in trouble which in turn would make it further easier for the ruling YSR Congress Party led by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, opine political analysts.
